Sherina graduated with a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Furthermore, in recognition for her musical achievement at Wesleyan University, she was awarded the Leavell Memorial Prize. Sherina's academic excellence also made her a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
