"After completing my Grade 8 Practical exams under Sherina , I decided to return to her, to do my diploma, after a one-year break. There is a huge leap from Grade 8 to diploma level, but Sherina is very patient and helps me through my difficulties. "I have been learning piano with Ms Sherina for about a year now. Sherina is really Dedicated and Passionate about the piano. She is always so enthusiastic when describing the mood / expression etc. of the music. Furthermore, correcting my techniques of piano-playing also helps a lot when I re-attempt a piece.
Ms Sherina is always patient in guiding me to express myself through piano works, using image descriptions at times to help me understand the music behind the music. She also encourages me to ask questions. Although Ms Sherina shares her point of view and interpretations through explanations and demonstrations on the piano, she always emphasizes that her goal is not to mould me into how she plays. Instead, I believe that she is working towards helping me to express my own opinions through music, while understanding and using the composer's essence and meaning as foundations for my interpretations.

"I was online Googling for a piano teacher to further my music studies when I stumbled across Sherina’s profile... a year ago. I was first impressed by her diversified music academic background and later on I discovered for myself how her good testimonials from her students truly matched up to her teaching competency in real life.
Sherina is a very expressive and dedicated teacher in music teaching with a huge appetite for music appreciation, in contrary to her gentle persona and petite frame.
